Friends of Troop 108, Inc. is an independent, volunteer-run nonprofit founded in 2025 to support Scouting America Troop 108 in Quakertown, New Jersey. Separate from the council or chartering organization, we provide a 501(c)(3) framework that helps alumni, families, and community members strengthen the troop through charitable giving. Our work includes supporting alumni engagement, enhancing troop programs and activities, assisting with Eagle Scout projects and annual chartering needs, managing long-term donated assets, and developing camperships, scholarships, and other charitable initiatives—all to ensure every Scout has access to meaningful experiences that build character, leadership, and lifelong memories.

Scott Turek has been a proud resident of Franklin Township since 2004 and is the owner of Nature’s Reflection LLC, a design-build landscape company. His commitment to community and youth development is reflected in his long-standing dedication to Scouting.
Scott began his Scouting journey in 2013 as a Den Leader for Cub Scout Pack 108. The following year, he stepped into the role of Cubmaster, serving in that position through 2020. During his tenure, he helped guide countless young Scouts through the foundational years of the Cub Scout program, fostering leadership, character, and a love for the outdoors.
As his two sons advanced into Scouts BSA, Scott expanded his involvement with Troop 108B, serving as an Assistant Scoutmaster and Merit Badge Counselor for Landscape Architecture and Soil and Water Conservation. He has mentored numerous Scouts on their path to Eagle, offering guidance, encouragement, and hands-on expertise.
In 2025, Scott assumed the role of Committee Chair for Troop 108G, where his two daughters are active Scouts. Over the course of his Scouting career, he has attended numerous summer camps, led merit badge workshops, coordinated township cleanups, supported fishing derbies and community events, and helped organize and manage troop fundraisers.
Scott’s dedication to Scouting is reflected not only in his leadership but also in his family’s achievements. His two sons have earned the rank of Eagle Scout, and his two daughters are currently Life Scouts working toward their Eagle rank.
Through his years of service, Scott continues to exemplify the values of Scouting—leadership, service, and commitment to community—making a lasting impact on Troop 108 and the families it serves.
