The following is a recap of some accomplishments from both troops, as reported by their Scoutmasters.
Troop 108B Scouts achieved the following at Resica Falls Scout Reservation:
"We had Scouts enrolled in 30 merit badge courses, with 24 completed. Many of the partial completions were due to necessary post-summer camp items. Our leaders signed off on over 100 items for Second Class and First Class."
Troop 108G Scouts achieved the following at Resica Falls Scout Reservation:
Our Scouts completed 38 merit badges and received only 3 partials.
Our Scouts participated in the camp-wide games on Wednesday afternoon.
Our Scouts participated in many inter-troop games and activities, as well as pick-up games such as volleyball, Gaga, football, tetherball, and other Scout-led games.
One adult leader completed IOLS and Assistant Scoutmaster (ASM) position training.
All of our adult leaders participated in Leave No Trace training (certification cards are on their way from Resica).
On February 7th, Troop 108B and 108G collected food and products for the Flemington Area Food Pantry. Friends of Troop 108 donated hot chocolate and handwarmers to keep the scouts warm!
